Dr. Steven J. Bussell, DMD
Dentist
Dr. Steven J. Bussell was born and raised in South Florida. He developed a passion for dentistry early in life, inspired by the careers of his father, grandfather, and uncle, all respected dentists. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine.
Dedicated to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, Dr. Bussell regularly attends continuing education courses, expanding his expertise in all areas of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. He has also completed numerous specialized courses in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, a condition he personally battled until an oral sleep appliance changed his life.
Dr. Bussell is deeply committed to providing personalized care to each patient, taking the time to understand their unique needs and concerns. He firmly believes in treating every patient like family, building trust through compassion, communication, and individualized treatment plans.
Outside the office, Dr. Bussell has been happily married to his wife, Silvia, for over 20 years. Together, they have three wonderful children: Nicholas, Samantha, and Zachary. When he’s not caring for patients or spending time with his family, Dr. Bussell enjoys hitting the golf course with friends and family.

Loriel
Office Coordinator
Loriel is a Florida native and has been in the dental field since 1993. She began working with Dr. Bussell in 2016.

In her free time, Loriel enjoys being on the water. You will often find her on her boat with her husband and children or exploring the sea by scuba diving.
Kirsten
Dental Assistant & Front Desk
Kirsten is a Florida native and went to The Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches. She started in pediatric dentistry before joining Dr. Bussell's office.

When she is away from the dental office, you can find Kirsten fishing, enjoying the beach, traveling and spending time with her family.
Yohanka
Dental Hygienist
Originally from Cuba, Yohanka graduated from Palm Beach State with her dental assisting certificate in 1990 before continuing on to earn her Dental Hygiene Degree in 1998.
“I love being social with patients and working with such a great team.”
When she’s away from the dental office, you can find Yohanka dancing, enjoying the beach, and traveling.
