The procedure itself involves two main phases:

• Implant Placement: Your dentist will surgically place a small number of titanium fixtures into your jawbone. These fixtures act as artificial tooth roots. The number of implants can vary, typically ranging from two to four for the lower jaw and four to six for the upper jaw, depending on your needs. The implants are strategically placed to provide optimal support.
• Denture Fabrication & Connection: Over the next 4 to 6 months, the implants will fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. Once healed, we will create your new custom dentures with special attachments that "snap" onto the implants. In some cases, a temporary denture can be placed on the same day as the implants, so you don't have to go without teeth.
