Invisalign® is perhaps one of the most popular alternative orthodontic treatments today. Countless teenagers and adults have chosen Invisalign to create more symmetrical, attractive smiles. One of the main draws of Invisalign is that it’s virtually invisible––hence the name, Invisalign––and it doesn’t contain metal wires or brackets.

People can now enjoy the health and appearance of straight teeth and an aligned bite. At our dental office, Affordable Dental Center of Wellington, we are pleased to offer Invisalign to patients who want to improve their smile’s vitality and beauty.

What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign clear aligners are made from SmartTrack® material, making them more comfortable and easier to remove and insert for enjoying meals, brushing, and flossing.

Invisalign can correct numerous mild orthodontic issues, such as:

  • Open bite
  • Crossbite
  • Underbite
  • Overbite
  • Crooked teeth
  • Crowded teeth
  • Twisted teeth
  • Gaps in teeth

If you want to straighten your teeth and improve your smile’s appearance, Invisalign may be the right solution for you. Dr. Steven Bussell is an Invisalign dentist in Royal Palm Beach who can help you find the best treatment for your unique oral health needs and aesthetic goals.

Cost of Invisalign

The cost of Invisalign depends on each patient’s treatment needs, length of treatment, and more. The only way to determine the cost of your specific treatment is to meet with your dentist to discuss your treatment needs and cost.

What to Expect at Your Invisalign Appointment

During your Invisalign appointment, your dentist will examine your mouth, such as tooth positioning and bite. Your dentist will then determine if you’re a good candidate for Invisalign and discuss your treatment needs.

Before starting Invisalign, your dentist will take digital impressions of your mouth and send the impressions to an Invisalign lab, where a specialist fabricates your custom aligner trays. Once the trays are complete, you can begin your treatment. You will wear a new set of aligners every two weeks, which gradually align your teeth until you achieve your desired results.

Treatment time depends on each patient, but average treatments last between 12 to 18 months or less.
